Virginia Sondergeld is an economist at the Indeed Hiring Lab, where she focuses on the German labor market. She earned her PhD in economics from the Free University of Berlin and the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin), researching the impact of female leadership on labor markets and firms. Previously, she worked as an economic consultant at NERA. In 2019, she founded the non-profit organization, The Women in Economics Initiative, which she led for five years. Virginia holds an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and a BSc in Economics and Business Administration from Goethe University Frankfurt.
