Chris Glynn is Director of Data Science at Indeed and leads economic data initiatives for the Indeed Hiring Lab, using Indeed’s proprietary labor market data to produce thousands of data series per week to monitor global labor markets. Prior to joining Indeed, Chris was head of forecasting & risk at Zillow, where he led teams in economic research, applied science, and housing market forecasting.  He was previously an assistant professor at the University of New Hampshire, where his research focused on statistical machine learning and dynamic marketplaces, and a research associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. His research has been published in top statistics and machine learning journals, including Annals of Applied Statistics, Nature Communications, and Bayesian Analysis. Chris earned his Ph.D. in statistical science from Duke University, an M.S. in mathematical finance from Boston University, and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
